Marie-Ève MEJ Jean

Marie-Ève Jean is a doctoral student in Water Sciences at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique in Quebec City with the Professor Sophie Duchesne. Her research project assesses combined sewer overflows and stormwater management, which allows her to collaborate with several municipalities as well as private and academic partners. She is also involved with research centers dedicated to development and transfer of scientific knowledge related to water management such as the Centre d’expertise et de recherche en infrastructures urbaines (CERIU) and the Centre québécois de recherche sur l’eau (CentrEau). She occasionally works as a consultant in hydrological and hydraulic modeling. She obtained an undergraduate degree in water engineering from Laval University and a master's degree in water resources management from the University of Alberta. Attracted by international cooperation, she also studied in Argentina, and was an intern at UNESCO's International Hydrological Program in Paris.
