Scott Struck
Dr. Scott Struck is a Principal with Geosyntec Consultants based in California and Colorado with more than 20 years of experience focused on planning, design, and implementation of stormwater infrastructure and watershed management to meet drainage and regulatory requirements. He frequently works with public (municipal, county, state, and federal), private (industrial and commercial), and non-profit clients. Scott often tackles existing or potential problems by teaming with researchers or completing his own research to develop scientifically based, applied solutions. Scott also frequently leads projects that develop user-friendly tools for understanding and interpretation of large datasets for effective, data-driven resources management.
A contributor to advancing the practice, Scott has authored over 50 publications including journal articles, technical reports, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He serves as an associate journal editor for the Journal of Sustainable Water in the Built Environment (an American Society of Civil Engineers [ASCE] journal). He is the current Past-President of ASCE’s Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI). Scott is an adjunct faculty member at the Colorado School of Mines and is actively involved with Engineers Without Borders, serving as a mentor to numerous projects in East Africa and Central America.
