SOUMEN MAJI
Soumen Maji is a hydraulician and educator. He is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering, Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar, where he teaches Engineering Drawing, Building Material & Construction, Hydraulic Engineering at the Under-Graduate level. Geo-hydraulics, Sediment Transport and Turbulent Fluid Flow in Post-Graduate level.
He received his B.Tech degree in civil engineering from the Biju Patnaik University of Technology Rourkela in 2009. Received M.Tech and PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2013 and 2018 respectively.
Presently, he is engaged in studying various hydrodynamics-related problems. His general areas of research interests are sediment transport, applied hydrodynamics, turbulence and other recent trends.
